Its that time of year again, when we all go out of our way to celebrate the men in our life. Father’s day is on Sunday 18th June (tomorrow).
So I’m bringing you a little round up of things to do with Dad in the local area.
Port Lympne
The local wildlife park is giving free entry to Dads. They also have a packed schedule of special talks and animal feeds. One of our favourite places to visit as a family!
Details can be found here.
Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway
On Father’s day, RHDR are bringing back their popular “Dads drive for free” event. So if your Dad is a train and railway enthusiast, this is the perfect opportunity for him to experience first hand what its like to drive one of these beautiful machines.
Also happening this weekend is the small traction engine and beer festival, so there really is something for every Dad!
More details can be found on their website.
Rare breeds centre
The Rare breeds centre at Woodchurch, near Ashford is holding its 23rd Vintage car rally on Sunday. The perfect day out for the car loving Dad, and great for the rest of the family too. With a variety of different farm animals including cows, pigs and goats, and also birds of prey, its a fantastic day out.
More details can be found here.
Whitefriars Canterbury
Billed as a “proper Dad’s day out”, Whitefriars have something for everyone. From a supercar meet and greet, to a longest putt competition for the golf fans, it promises to be a great day out.

Hopefully you can find something to appeal to your Dad, Grandad, husband or other father figure on this list.
And if you are still looking for the perfect gift, don’t forget I am offering 10% off of all family sessions and Daddy babywearing sessions until 18th June! Just quote the code “DADROCKS” when booking 🙂
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads, Stepdads, Grandads etc out there. I hope you all have a great day, whatever you do!
