Its that time of year again! The day we show appreciation for our Mums, Grandmothers, Aunties and other Mother-figures is fast approaching.

Afternoon tea at Port Lympne hotel
What could be more luxurious than having afternoon tea in the beautiful setting of the 4 star Port Lympne hotel? Cream teas, finger sandwiches and a glass of bubbly are the order of the day. Mums go free at local zoos
Some of our local zoos and wildlife parks are running “Mum goes free” offers, where Mums can get free admission with a paying child. These include Howletts wild animal park, nr Canterbury, where one Mum goes free with every full price ticket purchased at the gatehouse on Sunday 11th March. And Wingham wildlife park (see their Facebook event page for details).

After the success of last year’s Mothers day afternoon tea, Westenhanger castle are hosting it again. But this year, they also have a carvery available! Bookings are being taken for between 12pm, and 6pm. Enjoy a two course meal, and complimentary flowers for Mum or Nan. With a selection of meats (vegetarian options available) and a gorgeous choice of puddings, in a beautiful countryside setting, this really would be a special Mothers day treat. Obviously no Mothers day list would be complete without me 😉 This year I will be offering beautiful outdoor Mummy and me sessions. Taking place on selected evenings, these special sessions will concentrate on showing the bond between Mother and child (or children). Snuggle up with a blanket and read your favourite story, feed the baby, play peek-a-boo or just sit and cuddle in my special rocking chair.
I’ll be releasing full details of these sessions soon, but spaces will be limited.
